Dip dyed my hair about 1 1/2 weeks ago and lasted 4 days without before being told by my form teacher to dye it back T^T. Even though I see her everyday, she only realised it four days after and mannn, if only she didn't realise til Monday or something, at least then I could have lasted til my sister's wedding with it. Oh wells .. Can't say I didn't expect to be caught with it, I guess it was pretty bright in the sun which I didn't realise ..
This isn't really supposed to be a tutorial so I won't go into every detail about how I dip dyed it. Didn't really follow one specific YouTube tutorial either but I did get tips and ideas from several. I started off by bleaching my hair in two batches because I didn't trust that I would be able to get a nice gradient effect if I did it all at once. It came out I guess like what I had expected it to so that was relieving haha.
Next, I used a dark purple/burgundy colour which was a temporary dye to dye over the bleached sections of my hair and a bit past it (for it to have a nicer gradient). And, the end result:
I'm pretty certain that after I washed my hair a few times, it just got brighter and brighter, hence, I got into trouble for having 'pink' hair. Shall have to try this again after high school ;(.
