Went out with Mel yesterday to chill with just the us two and to look at the Southbank lanterns for the Brisbane Festival. I still remember the first time I saw them, I thought it was for Chinese Lunar Fest or something .. Why do they have Asian stuff for Brisbane Fest? Hm ..

The day started off as cloudy but cleared up later on. We first went to look around at clothing shops and I'm proud to say I did not buy anything for the whole day. After that, we decided to take a break and eat at Queens Plaza. Got laksa since I was craving it from morning while Mel got Oporto. Also got her to try Boost for the first time and got given a membership card.

Saw Tina on the way out with her family, then we headed off to Southbank. The day was still cloudy then, but I will never forget the moment when two random guys start taking photos near us, then suddenly one of them asks Mel, "One photo?" Pretty sure everyone would assume he meant for her to help him take a photo of him and his friend, so she agreed. What he actually meant though was for her to come into the photo with him o__o. What're his intentions .. LOL I started scaring Mel later on with scenarios of what he could possibly be thinking of doing. So glad he didn't ask me cos I would have no idea what to say .. Mel was like "Oh no no no -vigorously waves arms-" and I was just standing there in the background the whole time laughing so hard.

Then we continued taking photos after we made sure they were gone and out of our sight LOL. The photos didn't turn out very nice btw, partly due to the cloudy whether but mainly due to my amateur skills. It did however make the trees look like they had snow on it .. Or maybe it is just my imagination haha.

Apart from bokeh, I also have a weird obsession with taking photos of my watch don't I ..
