my life in the past week or so

Guess I should blog a little about my life now since it might be a bit boring for you guys to read my China posts day after day (even if you guys aren't, I'm so bored having to blog about them), so here's a short recount of my life in the past week or so.


Made pasta a few days ago. It's like the only dish I know how to make .. LOL what a good wife I'll be >.> Since I took pics during the process, I may as well describe what I did in each step. It's like one of the easiest dishes ever to make :D. I think the part that took me the longest is preparation .. I took around half an hour just to cut everything up. It wasn't even that neat anyways. Pic above, use half a packet of bow tie pasta (I thinkk it's 250g but I'm not sure, and an estimation is fine.)


I sliced up a whole carton of mushrooms which had about nine inside because .. Does anyone else notice that mushrooms just shrink to nearly nothing once they are cooked? o.o No matter how much you put in I swear.


One large zucchini diced and a loadddd of onions (they somehow all disappear too no matter how much you cut up). If you don't like the taste of too much onion, don't worry cos you can't taste it LOL. It's one of the main ingredients and kinda 'sweetens' the pasta.


Saute onions, then add zucchini and mushrooms. Cook until they are soft. The worst thing is having raw zucchini and everything is already starting to overcook.


Add one can of carnation milk. This dish is healthier because there's no cream in it but it still tastes creamy. It's also vegetarian unless you wanna add bacon.


Add in the pasta and stir well. It'll be a little runny so add corn flour until it thickens up. Add chicken stock (this is the only flavouring ingredient you have to add LOL so easy yeah? ^^) Just keep adding and tasting until you like the taste. Also add parmesan cheese if you have some - It'll help thicken it up a little also and make it a little 'saltier'.


Sadly my parents are too Asian to enjoy my cooking LOL so ): Hope you guys try this out. It's like two recipes I knew but I merged them together. Does that count as my own then? ;)


Painted my nails (asdf one of the hardest things to do #fwp T__T). And why does the colour look so much nicer in photos? It looks a lot darker in real life.

 

Got a new Adidas cap. I know it's weird, me camwhoring. Please forgive me, I'm sorry LOL T_T". And ignore PJs .. Anyone else cbb changing into going out clothes when they know they're going to be staying home the whole day? What is the point? LOL.
