If you guys didn't know, my sister moved out around last year August so I moved into her room which is a lot bigger. I had a 'before' picture of her room wayy back on my 366 day project and now, months later, I have finally decided it is time I get a move on with giving this room a makeover. So far, all that's happened are the walls have been painted white, and I've moved all my furniture in. No decorating has been done but I figured I should at least get started since I have nothing better to do.
If I had no budget and access to anything I wanted to, my dream room would probably be really Victorian/Vintage inspired with everything black and white, but since that can't be done, I'll find other ways to revamp haha.
Went out today with mum and her friend since she's moving house soon so while she managed to spend $50+ at a one dollar shop, I managed to pick up a few items aswell. It's not much, but it's enough to get me motivated.
The first thing I picked up was this jar that looks massive on camera and kinda like a fish bowl .. It's actually really small though I assure you LOL.
The next thing I picked up were these crystal looking stones. Since I can't go forward with my black & white vintage theme, I had a hard time deciding what colours to get but as you can see I went with white and pink. If they had a mint green I so would have gone with that ><.
The result .. A makeup brush holder. I think I needed more stones and obviously the purple brushes look horrible with the pink and white but it's okay LOL.
Last thing I bought was this glass plate. It looked Victorian/Vintage to me so I bought it, then turned it into ..
A jewellery piece holder. Hopefully I can get more creative in the future but that's all for today LOL.
