Last Sunday was Tina's 18th birthday party! It started at around 3 pm for the people who wanted to go to karaoke at Mix and since I'd never gone to karaoke with friends before, I decided to come along.
I expected all karaoke places to have all these bright lights shining like the ones I saw in China but this one was really dark and so we totally drove past it without knowing LOL. There were around 9 people who turned up for karaoke so we decided to book the room for two hours since the place we were gonna eat at opened at 5 pm.
Only watched people sing for the first half then decided to give it a go and now I want to go again so I guess it's always good to give things a go ~ Reminds me of the time I didn't want to do quad biking at Tangalooma, and then it turned out to be the maddest part of the whole trip!
Met up with the others later and then walked to a Korean BBQ restaurant to eat! (We had a little dilemma in between but I won't mention it since I'm too lazy LOL). I forgot the name of the restaurant but it's somewhere in Pinelands.
Since we were split amongst three tables, Steph, Trish and I decided to share our dishes and order together.
This was a kind of pancake but it was good as a side dish.
Marinated pork belly with salad and rice.
Complementary side dishes (the best part XD).
Bulgogi served on a hot plate.
Afterwards, we all went back to Tina's house (which looks amazing btw!) to watch a movie and chill. Decided to watch Pitch Perfect but had to fast forward some scenes since it was getting pretty late and most of us had uni the next day - I had to wake up at 6 am T.T . But nonetheless, it was so much fun so thank you for inviting me Tina!
She even prepared snacks for us :').
Credits to Tina who always has group photos ~ The lighting of these photos were quite terrible by the way so I tried my best to make them better. The bottom one is clearer cos we decided to use flash after so many attempts hahaha.
Oh, and for anyone who feels lost in life at the moment and doesn't know whether to follow their dream or something along those lines, maybe you should watch this video. It was so relevant to me and still is that I had tears in my eyes when I watched it .. I am still indecisive as to what I should do .. Hmm, money or dream.
Ps. I know his voice sounds scary at first but I assure you it is not a scary video LOL. His voice actually has so much power and meaning and matches this video so much.
