DAY 19

Mum got sick so we only went to the markets downstairs for a little while without her. I managed to purchase a cardigan, chiffon top (so rare in this weather!), a few knits I think and my first handbag this whole trip :').

This post only has photos from my mum's friend's house but omgosh, I love her house so much so it deserves a whole post dedicated to it LOL. The first non Asian looking house I've seen. She has the style I want my future house to look like - Vintage/Victorian. It's so beautiful.

I really wanted a wallpaper like that for when I moved into my sister's room but it'd be too much trouble. Instead, I wanted to look for curtains with that design but no T^T every curtain place we went to only sold very traditional looking Chinese curtains so I ended up getting the least Asian thing I saw but it still looked pretty Asian since it was hung up next to Asian looking curtains .. I have nothing against Asian things btw LOL just personal preference.

Details like this are what really makes a house look complete and nice .. Not necessary but such a nice touch.

Would really want a dresser inspired by this table set. Currently have no mirror in my room and have never had a dresser before LOL :(.

We were all so surprised when we saw the breakfast she made for us .. The first Western styled food I've had since I first arrived in China. Asdf this was so cute. She is so into detailing ><.

For example, this LOL. Could have just left teabags in each cup but instead she used a big teapot and poured tea out for us. Then we get a sugar cube to put into our tea and use a mini jar to pour milk in. From this point on, I didn't want to leave Shenzhen or her house LOL.

Dinner that night. What is this called .. Hotpot? Steamboat? Again it's set out so nicely. She even put lettuce under each meat dish that can be eaten after the meat's gone. And for some reason, it doesn't look so Asian even though it's an Asian meal.

We only stayed in Shenzhen for 2 nights and 3 days because mum promised grandma we wouldn't be gone that long so no complaints ^^.
