DAY 25

Chinese people (or maybe just where I lived) don't celebrate Christmas at all so like I said, I didn't see many decorations ): Instead, we decided to go to a plum blossom park on Christmas Day since they only bloom in winter (very similar to cherry blossoms).

Mum and I actually didn't know where we were being taken to, so when we arrived, I was so bummed out that I didn't bring my Canon camera. But since mum told dad and my bro we were going to those street markets and they didn't end up following us, I managed to convince her to go again for them another time XD.

Lovely weather once again .. But it got gloomy not long after. I should also mention that we got lost coming here and had no GPS or map so it took us like 2 hours +. We ended up seeing a random motorist who offered to take us there for 10 RMB .. Dodgy but he turned out to be reliable LOL.

I really wonder how many plum blossom trees there were.

Trying to take macro shots .. With a compact camera ): .

The blue-everything-in-the-background setting on my Sony. Hmm .. Something about it, can just tell it's not a proper macro shot. Maybe it's the fact that the whole background is the same 'blurriness' instead of a gradual blur, idk.
