china day 7: goodbye hk!

DAY 7

Because we only stayed in HK for three days two nights, this made it our last day :(. As a result, I really wanted to go to all the shops in HK that weren't available in China, namely H&M because it's apparently 'cheap'. Asked everyone on Facebook where it was, and was told I needed to get to Langham Place in order to find it. LOL, I don't even know my way around so I had no way of finding where or what Langham Place was. Ended up exiting the MTR at Mongkok to get to Ladies Markets again (cos that's the only place we know how to get to) and exited at Exit E, thinking it was the exit we usually take. The moment we stepped out, we saw all these shops we were looking for, including Langham Place shopping centre! So I guess it was fortunate that we took the wrong exit XD.

I think me and my cousin went a lil too crazy, but we kinda ran off cos we were so proud we were able to find it. Since Cotton On was closer, we decided to go there first.

I didn't end up buying anything cos it equates to pretty much the same prices in Aus, though I did see a sweater I liked. Ended up only getting two pairs of sunnies, cos they were two for $50 HKD which equates to around $6 for two pairs, and they weren't even on sale. I bought mine for two for $20 in Aus :(. Went to pay, and saw that the guy serving me was wearing the same sweater I liked .. It was a girl's sweater too. LOL hmm, would've been awkward paying if I did buy it ><.

They didn't have the gold rimmed ones like they do in Aus so I ended up getting both the same.

A supposedly Olympic sized swimming pool that was available at our hotel.

Since it was our last day, I took a photo of the MTR station .. Typical me. Also, this line sticks in my head: "Please mind the gap." and it bugs me so much.

We then went into H&M and it was honestly such a huge shop. Apparently the biggest H&M in the world ..? Idk if that's true or I got given false info. We looked for like an hour I think in that shop alone, and I didn't find one thing I liked although I really wanted to. I ended up trying on a few items, and getting a simple black dress to wear to my mum's friend's daughter's wedding which would be in a few days.

Always wondered what the second mirror was for, but now I realise haha.

After so long, our mums got impatient with us cos all they like doing is shopping and bargaining at Ladies Markets LOL. So we went back there and I never got to visit all thirteen levels of Langham Place.

Ended up buying two iPhone 4 cases since my sister's phone contract is ending soon so I can have her iPhone 4 ^^. I really like this Beats case design a lot better than the majority of ones I kept seeing. It's so simple without the usual red Beats logo.

Bargained it down to two for $100 HKD. That's like .. $13 AUD.

And two purchases from SaSa. I assumed I would find cosmetics in China but I didn't, so I didn't really buy many cosmetics during my trip.
