ftv excursion
Tuesday, July 10, 2012 @ 11:36 PM

First day back after exam block last term, had my ftv excursion. To be honest, it wasn't helpful for our next assignment at all, and I'm sure everyone was aware of that before we even went LOL.

Took the 180 from school on public transport and took up pretty much the whole bus, making other people stand .. When we arrived, walked to the area near Wheel of Brisbane and teacher gave us one hour to take photos of things that included both Mansfield and Southbank elements - Pretty much giving us free time. Could've brought my new dslr but ended up just bringing digital camera instead.

Afterwards was morning tea, and we got about an hour to go around anywhere in Southbank to buy our food. Mel wanted to go to the candy shop, so we went there, then headed off to Griffith Film School. It was so cool in there and I think it was the most interesting part of the excursion. So wouldn't mind studying film in Uni, but it just seems too risky for me .. Yeah, I'd rather play it safe.

Next, we split into two groups and headed off to different places. Went to GoMA first and since our class was so slow, we had to wait at the front for the others to arrive. Used their free wifi while waiting and played Draw Something on iTouch LOL.

Ended the day by going to the Museum then heading off in our own directions. People were allowed to bus home from Southbank without having to go back to school first. It was pretty cool how the excursion was so casual and free unlike other school excursions.

Andd group photo to end the post.
