Had a photography sesh with Trish sometime on the holidays; our last one was like .. Last year? But this time was different since we both had expensive dslrs ♥.
I bet Trish had a good day too, seeing as she met Jye and Lij, two Brisbane YouTubers whom I'd never heard of. She was fangirling like crazy the whole day afterwards, but I'll talk about that later on in the post haha. Oh and credits to Trish for the photos of me, which she took without permission.
We walked around Southbank taking photos of anything and basically experimenting with the different settings on our cameras. Thank you Trish for teaching me some of the settings - You're like my senior now haha. I didn't really take any photos I was extremely happy with, but it was still really fun experimenting.
There's nothing special about this photo but I've always wanted to take a photo of the sun hitting the water and then it creates these really nice looking stars. Would never work with my compact camera but I can finally do it now ^^.
Trish taught me this :D but I think I forgot how to do it now .. Changing the iso? Haha I don't remember the name, but I'll know when I use my camera.
I like this photo. Realised I like photos of people smiling LOL though I made Trish pose emo-ly once.
And Trish's photos below. Oh yeah, she also (without permission) took photos of lil kids. Just wanted to mention that haha ;P. If quality isn't good, it's cos I saved them from Facebook.
We then decided to head back to City for lunch. Walked across the bridge and when we pretty much reached the City, Trish just went silent, covered her mouth, and kept on looking back at someone. She was literally speechless LOL and kept on telling me that she saw Jye. We kept walking to Myer Centre cos Trish was too chicken to go up to him, then she regretted it the whole time throughout lunch and nagged me to go back to Southbank with her to see if we could bump into him. What are the odds of that happening? LOL but nonetheless, we went back anyway because Trish wouldn't be satisfied unless we tried.
It was pretty funny cos he was wearing a red Angry Bird jumper so all we did was look for someone who wore bright red. Surprisingly, we found him the moment we crossed the bridge. She forced herself to talk to him this time and managed to get a photo. He asked me if I wanted to be in the photo too but I wasn't interested haha. Trish should print this and stick it onto her wall. Aw yeah, Trish's next mission - Meet One Direction. One step closer now LOL.
After, we walked to GoMA and sat there for a long time chatting and taking more photos.
