update (purchases)
Saturday, February 16, 2013 @ 11:54 PM

I don't know why I'm doing purchases posts three times in a row but I hope that's okay. It's really just an update post but I have not been taking photos whilst I'm out so all I'm left with are the things I've bought to take photos of.

My sister's phone plan expired so she got a new phone and I got to have her iPhone 4. I owned an iTouch before this so I got used to the interface really quickly. I also think I'm starting to become obsessed with Instagram now .. You can follow me @xbecccc :D.

Make up purchases because they were discounted. Woolworths is the place to be if you want to look for discounts on drugstore make up brands haha ;) Take a look the next time you visit.

My first purchase from Asos Marketplace ♥. It all started when I saw a shirt at suitcase rummage which I really loved but unfortunately it had a missing button which would be very difficult to find one exactly the same. I didn't think about it later on but was googling a picture to describe the shirt to a friend. I googled something really ordinary but found the exact same shirt on the first page! I clicked on it and realised it was on sale so I immediately clicked the page and couldn't resist buying it sigh*.

The shoulder design is what made me want it so much, otherwise it's pretty much just like any chiffon blouse. I really love how it makes the shirt look really military inspired - I think it's my new obsession along with tribal prints and Jeffrey Campbell Litas XD. It's also made from a really soft material, unlike my other chiffon tops so it feels more like silk and makes the shirt less sheer. I also like how the buttons are a really pale gold.

Speaking of military inspired clothing, I also bought this blazer the other day:

It looked a little baggy on the hanger but once I tried it on I really liked it.

^ Okay, this is definitely not something that suits everyone's taste haha. I've noticed some of my clothing become more and more 'subjective' if that is even a correct way to use the word. Pretty much trying to say it would not be an item everyone would not mind wearing .. More personal style? If that makes more sense. It also makes me look older :D and tough .. And hardcore LOL.

Another military inspired top? This was the top I accidentally missed whilst blogging my China haul so here it is. It was also my OOTN so I bothered to take a pic of it haha.

I also re-ombred my hair (since I do use a washout dye to do it) and yes! I wear my year 7 senior shirt to sleep :D.

I also finally built up the courage to re-pierce my ears after so many years. Yes, it took me a long time to build up courage haha.

I've actually had my ears pierced before so that was the problem .. Unlike other people who go to get piercings for the first time, I'd done it before so I knew myself the pain factor and was too chicken to go again (and I'd been told the older you are the more it hurts). But then it actually hurt way less and for a much shorter period this time. The only problem is that I'm so paranoid it'll bleed in my sleep so I always tell myself to sleep facing up and it gets really tiring and uncomfortable.

And lastly, I went to Harbour Town yesterday and purchased three things. Forever New was having a further 50% off sale items and asdf I really wanted to find something in the store but all the items were either things I didn't need or things I didn't love so I resisted proud*.

This was only $5 so I had to get it haha.

Got a notebook for uni. Not sure if I'd like writing in these though so I only bought one to start off with. I like how it's divided into four sections which is perfect since I do four units per semester.

I don't think I own any sandals at all at the moment and I'd seen these for a long time so I decided to get them, but only cos they were finally on sale LOL!

Extremely long post today so I hope you guys enjoyed ~

Oh! And one last thing. I finally updated my blogshop after so many weeks so click here if you're interested :).
