kaye's farewell
Saturday, March 23, 2013 @ 9:30 PM
Apologies for the lack of updates guys ): I actually don't know why because I haven't been that busy .. Then again I guess I haven't been that free either and my free time nowadays is spent catching up with friends, sleep or YouTube due to uni which makes it very difficult to do these three things.
Last Friday, F Block gathered together to farewell Kaye since she was leaving to Korea for a very long time ): The sad thing was, it didn't actually feel like a farewell but rather a high school F Block reunion so at the end of the night, it felt kinda weird .. But nonetheless, I think everyone had a good time and hopefully Kaye's last memories with us before she leaves was a good one.
A few of us met up at QUT before walking off together to meet the others at Amici's for dinner. My first impression of it a year or so ago was not that good but it definitely improved this time. Since we were waiting for everyone to arrive, most of the beginning of the night was just spent taking photos - I guess we haven't seen each other in a big group like this in a really long time.

Flash makes a huge difference but unfortunately I will never learn to like it ..

Serenana ~ She wore a Hello Kitty shirt for me, I know it XD.

After dinner, we all walked from Southbank to Roma Street Parklands and the walking alone took us literally 50 minutes so it wasted a lot of our time. We arrived when it was 9 pm maybe so just hung around for a bit, chatting and taking photos. A few more people who weren't there for the dinner also arrived so we decided to take group photos. Since our photographer Tina didn't bring her dslr (what photographer doesn't bring her camera :P) I had to take over because I'm master Tina's trusty assistant. Afterwards, we decided to reminisce about our childhood by sitting around in a circle and playing games so that was really cute :3.
Got late so quickly so we all decided it was time to say goodbye at around 10 pm and parted ways (I make it sound super sad haha). Thank you to Trish's parents who drove me back to their place and Kayee, have fun and stay safe in Korea! I hope you enjoyed reading my corny letter ><.
